BRIEF
This workshop will introduce participants to the historical developments of Arabic typography. It will encourage participants to explore the use of Arabic type in contemporary graphic design through concise exercises and experiments. The participants will be able to develop their own visual expression using Arabic icons, images, color and typography to create relevant and contextually sensitive work that reflects the intricacies of local/Arabian visual culture.
NOTE: PARTICIPANTS SHOULD HAVE A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF PHOTOSHOP AND ILLUSTRATOR
