This is a modern approach of the old Kufic style of the 1st century, as known, this scripts is usually written on lines, what I tried here is to make a composition and take upward the vertical letters.
this design I did for Mr. Majid al Futtaim Mosque in Abu Hail district in Dubai, the actual design is cut into yellowish marble stone and fixed on white marble.
the form of the letters of this Kufi is little bit different than what appears in the old manuscript as i add a touch of modernity to it.
