Dia Diwan

Your Gateway to Middle East Chic

Dia Diwan was launched in May 2008 by a group of cosmopolitan Middle Easterners with the goal to highlight all the good things coming out of the region. We traded politics and religion for something all together more positive.

In practice, Dia Diwan offers an array of information on the Middle East’s major cities, as well as the possibility to shop online from the region’s leading designers through its primary portals: Dia Daily, Global Souk, Dia Style, Calendar and Blogs

The A to Z of Dia Diwan

Dia Daily

Daily stories on new restaurants, boutiques, hotels, exhibitions and what not. A new hotel in Damascus, a new concept store in Jeddah, an exhibition on Saudi art in London, we got it all covered with our city reporters. Also on hand is our Blackbook address book of hip and trendy places to visit in each city of the Middle East. In addition, our “what’s in your handbag interview” highlights the achievements of Middle Eastern women, whether they’re film-makers, UN aid workers, fashion designers or investment bankers.

Dia Style

Retail therapy from the leading online websites. Whether it's a Chloe dress you’re eying on Net-a-Porter, or a pair of cute earrings from Shopbop- we’ve done the selection for you, keeping in mind what looks good to wear anywhere in the middle east from Amman to Manama.

Dia Souk

We are the first to offer an online presence of the leading designers from the region. So now, whether you’re in New York or Bahrain, you can shop online for the best clothes and accessory designers from the Middle East.
Dia Blogs: Experts from various fields – blog about everything from Arab trends at New York Fashion week, tabbouleh tasting at the Tate, the Arab version of YouTube and that finding a park for your baby to run around in, in Arab cities.

Dia Calendar

A concert in Wadi Rum, a book signing in Beirut, a restaurant opening in Cairo, a trade fair in Riyadh, a fashion show in Dubai – it’s all there.
