Islamic Art Across Cultures

This exhibition offers the opportunity to look at art across space and through time in the Islamic world, and includes interactions between the world of Islam and that of other cultures and religions
The works included express three aspects of an open-minded Islam throughout its history. The three sections are: Islam and World Religions; Islam and the Transmission of Design; and Islam and the Transmission of Knowledge. A fourth section is dedicated to the Indian painter, Maqbool Fida Husain.
