Born in Netherlands and since I can remember fascinated with Arabic type, art, culture and atmophere...

I graduated in graphic design from the Utrecht School of the Arts, Netherlands, in 2005.
I designed a new font, Ala, for Arabic and Latin, built from the same elements, convincingly realizing a merge between two different (visual) cultures.

Nowadays I run my own studio AARGH! designers in Arnhem, Netherlands, together with two other graphic designers.
