Bijan Sayfouri

Bijan Sayfouri was born on May 7th 1968 in Iran. Working in his studio in Tehran as an art director and graphic designer since 1988. His major design focus is on posters, books, magazines, typography, logos and corporate identities for cultural events, periodicals, and publishers. Graduated in graphic design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University in 1993. Currently he is teaching graphic design and typography in the design universities in Tehran.
He is an advising member of IGDS and also a member of the jury for national and international events since 1993.
Bijan is a founding member of “the 5th color” which has been mentioned by Alain Le Quernec as a distinct, leading innovative group of Iranian graphic designers. He has organized many activities and exhibitions for Iranian graphic designers internationally since 2001 along with “the 5th color”.
