Living and working as an independent graphic designer in Zurich, Switzerland. Studied between 1990 - 1994 at the High School of Art in Lucern. 1997 first time in Cairo for learning the arabian language and first steps into arabic calligraphy. 1999 Scholarship of PRO HELVETIA: a cultural exchange with the calligrapher Mounir El Shaarani. Since 1999 teaching classic arabic calligraphy in schools, museums and privately: workshops all over Switzerland. Travel guide to islamic countries like: Usbekistan, Egypt and Turkey.
