Hani Asfour

Hani is Director of Knowledge and Design at The Edge, in Dubai, and founding principal at Polypod Studio in Beirut. Hani studied architecture at MIT and Harvard, and has practiced and taught design in various places. Hani was a board member of the American Center for Design and chaired its 9th annual Living Surfaces conference, Multiples of 1.

Hani is passionate about typography, and has the distinct accomplishment of being able to distinguish between Univers and Helvetica by age 15. In his spare time, Hani reads about typography and has yet to have the courage and the time to design his own type.
