In 2011 he traveled around the Middle East between Istanbul and Jerusalem.
Following its trip he came back to Madaba in Jordan to make an apprenticeship in Mosaics with Ali, a young talented local craftsman.
Together they decided to create a mosaic structure called Öpus Master Mosaics to explore the traditional craft through the scope of modernity.
