B.A. in Graphic Design from NDU (Notre Dame University), Lebanon. Emphasis in typography and motion graphics.

Graduated from NDU (Notre Dame University) in Lebanon, 2007, with high a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, with emphasis in typography and motion graphics. Received an award as member of the international society of typographic design through the ISTD annual student assessment scheme 2007. Have passion for all aspects of graphic design and visual communication, with a profound interest in Arabic typography and its contemporary development. Worked for one year as the designer of the news website nowlebanon.com, the website became the 30th most visited website in Lebanon after just 6 months of its launch. Was one of the 5 Arab designers on the El Hema exhibition design team that won the first prize of the jury’s choice in the “Visual Identity” category, and the second prize of the audience's choice in 2008. I am a partner of The Place design in Lebanon, and currently a full time designer at Brand Central Lebanon, working on various branding projects. I have recently started working on developing Arabic typefaces.

    Hamza (ء) is a letter in the Arabic alphabet, representing the glottal stop. My name in arabic is waءel. :-)
