My name is Mortdha Al-Hussaini and I’m an artist from the Southern Iraqi marshlands. As a child I loved drawing and calligraphy and this led me to my current field of study, Digital Media Arts.I spent my childhood in Iraq and after the Second Gulf War (America vs. Iraq) my family moved me to Damascus, Syria. While in Syria I studied at a seminary and practiced my calligraphy and poetry-writing.As a young adult my family and I were re-united in Toronto, Canada, where we currently live.I study at Seneca College at York in the field of Digital Media Arts, and love it.
