Abjad Design

Abjad is a Semitic, consonantal, linear writing system. Based on word roots, the Arabic script is one that uses this system, and is written from right to left.

Abjad Design is a niche graphic design studio based in Dubai. It was founded by two Arab girls with a passion for simply everything typo/graphic: Sheikha Bin Dhaher and Diana Hawatmeh. We at Abjad, focus on producing creative, conceptual and communicative design solutions. Paying attention to craft, detail and simplicity in design is part of our practice. Our multidisciplinary work is mostly produced for clients in the arts,culture and fashion industries, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.
