I took the liberty to work on the Arabic. I apologize for my naive and only visual approach. Probably I damaged some legibility aspects. Nevertheless, it might hepl you a step further. Due to this execrcise I adapted the lati shapes. First to match the baseline, this generated a wider character image. Secondly I matched the stroke widths of the arabic. This generated a more regular Latin letter image.
