The first English Arts and Culture Magazine from Saudi Arabia

Oasis Magazine aims to be a voice and representative of both Saudi and Arab culture.

This Issue 9 of Oasis Magazine is of particular interest to the Khatt Foundation since it features an interview with Khatt Foundation's founding director, Huda Smitshuijzen AbiFares, as well work and articles about notable members of Khatt Foundation such as, Nada Debs, Reza Abedini, Tarek Atrissi, Hassan Hajjaj, Edo Smitshuijzen and other active and creative Arab visual artists and designers.

Oasis Magazine takes a look at modern Islamic art in all its various mediums. It strives to push the boundaries of imagination and definition and will look at everything from Arabic typography and movie making in Saudi Arabia to arabesque products, travel and even cooking.

Oasis Magazine is distributed and available all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, Amman, London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam and will soon expand to include Canada, USA and more
European cities. Oasis Magazine is published four times a year. The magazine is the first of its kind in terms of content, design, and caliber from Saudi Arabia. The Oasis website includes up-to-date articles on events, art projects and cultural scenes all over the world. The website, overseen by Creative Director Noura Bouzo, and Editor at Large Basma Bouzo, will also soon include Oasis TV, which will be an online podcast as well as video interviews with several leading entrepreneurs, designers, and art aficionados.
