King Faisal Foundation for Research and Islamic Studies

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies was established in 1983. Based in Riyadh, the centre is an independent, not-for-profit institution financed by the King Faisal Foundation. The center studies issues affecting the Arab and Muslim worlds, and organizes a number of conferences each year.

During Saudi Design Week, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies will inaugurate both its Islamic Museum and Library. Visitors to Saudi Design Week will get a first look at the newly renovated Islamic Art Museum. Visitors will also get the chance to tour the library, which will be the main venue for most of the workshops taking place during Saudi Design Week.
