Doa’a is a Jeddah based independent designer focused on art direction and design anthropology. After graduating from Dar Al Hekma University with a BA in Visual Communication and working in several notable studios in Saudi and the UAE, she continues to be a certified workaholic practicing human-centered design applied on multidisciplinary practices in relation to design for social change. Her work is a poetic result of experimenting with traditional and contemporary media exploring grief, loss, immigration and hybrid identities. It is a manifestation of everyday ordinary encounters with people and their relationship with the surroundings they are inhabiting.
