Samer Bou Saleh

Samer Bou Saleh is an independent graphic designer, lettering artist, and analogue photographer based between Mount Lebanon and Beirut. Since 2008, his work has focused on Arabic typography, blending hand lettering with bilingual design across editorial, branding, and cultural projects.
Alongside his design practice, he explores analogue techniques such as printmaking, darkroom photography, and woodworking. In 2022, he began establishing a letterpress studio in the Lebanese mountains, dedicated to reviving Arabic movable type, researching regional printing history, and fostering collaborative, hands-on learning.
