Finding Projects is an international, nonprofit, nongovernmental association designed to seek, develop and realize unconventional ideas and project plans across the Middle East and Mediterranean regions. The Association has been quietly founded since 2006, with the initial actualization of exhibitions from Cairo and San Francisco, and later grown across the Middle East, Europe and United States at large. Since 2009, projects developed into site-specific and long-term assignments, designed to build sustainable initiatives by the founder and director of FP.

All visual constructs are in recognition of the hosting institution, the funding body, and the creative minds who are equal investors into re-designing visual culture by fully integrating interdisciplinary tasks into the contexts they are found from and offered in. Projects vary in the medium that compliments the efforts designed by the artist(s) combined with the opportunity to find funds that will help realize their creative direction and propose nuances of various artistic disciplines. Keeping in mind, the importance behind each and every project is to document and archive contemporary history into a Compendium of Collective Cultures.

Finding Projects is the first association of its kind, founded from Egypt and registered in Italy, designed to combine narratives of contemporary social history under the auspices of institutions and funding bodies identifiable by the projects found.
