Mahvare's Effect
I met Reza, a 16 years old boy in one of the wealthy streets of North Tehran.
He was walking with a poor condition of his pants. I asked him why he did not give his pants to his mother to mend. He told me it was a Western Fashion!
I told him the long bands of the end of his pants sweep the dirt of street and would be shameful to walk on expensive Persian Carpet at his home where his parents might pray on it.
He told me he follows Mahvare's (satellite) programs which broadcast from West, i.e. USA, Britain, Western Countries.
Also I understood he was one of the young followers of Mr Mir Hossein Musavi, a candidate for Presidential election.
