A combination of design/political elements - from the iconic 'Peace Salute' as seen in civic movements across Palestine & the Middle East - which in turn doubles up as the Laam-Alif ligature in the Arabic word for Peace 'سلام' - which in turn has been written in a custom display face based one of the oldest of the Arabic calligraphic scripts, Kufi - to represent the Ancient struggle for the establishment of this most fundamental of principles - and the concept of Peace only becoming a legible reality when there is unity between what is written on paper and the population then governed by those words...
