Ayandeh Bank Typeface
The future is bright…
Ayandeh Bank was established in 2013 and it did not have any particular and united typeface then. They used Adobe Arabic in the Bank logo design, Ordibehesht, Amir, and Meshki for titles, IranYekan in web pages, and Nian and Nazanin in their texts. From the audience’s point of view, this amount of different typefaces in the bank’s visual identity caused multiple identities for the bank. Therefore, in 2020 Ayandeh Bank decided to have its own exclusive typeface with unique features to use in ads, papers, documents, and cyberspace.
After considering the typeface usage and the bank’s goals, a legible and readable typeface was created that fits the print media, outdoor media, and cyberspace and the main approach was to have a polite, responsive, professional, and legal personality in the typeface. Being a unique typeface and far from showing off, Ayandeh has kept Farsi script’s features perfectly well.
In Ayandeh typeface, letters are arranged in a way to meet the need of today and the future; creating breathing space, or in another word creating an open and peaceful atmosphere. Calling the typeface luxury might be a little exaggerating, but beyond this “being luxury” idea, the team was inspired to show that the audience of Ayandeh Bank deserves respect and peace, and that’s the gift that Ayandeh typeface gives to its audience.
Ayandeh, a different vision of responsive, professional, and legal.
Reza Bakhtiarifard and Mahdi Ershadi designed the “Ayandeh typeface” in four weights of light, regular, bold, and black, for Ayandeh Bank in 2020.
