Novin Web Typeface
Novin* web has been specially designed for pixel area. The redesigning and hinting process of the web version has been done based on the regular weight for all the characters.
In this typeface, differences between the strokes’ thickness are less than the regular Novin font. Redesigning the forms has been done on a raster, and the scales were multiples of pixels. All these works led to a clear font that perfectly fits in the pixel area. The hinting has been done considering 9, 12, and 15 point sizes, and the best result and clarity can be seen in these particular sizes.
Hirbod Lotfian designed the Novin font family and then Reza Bakhtiarifard did the redesigning and hinting of the font in 2013. This typeface has been designed for Eghtesad-e Novin Bank, and cannot be purchased.
