tnx

Hi Huda, tnx.

We sorted out another route [perhaps ours takes more time].

You need to install an Arabic font of course and then:
- In Apple OS X, open International in the Preference pane.
- Choose Input Menu, select Arabic and select 'Show input menu in menu bar'. A flag will appear right next to your clock in the upper right corner.
- Select Arabic or Arabic-Qwerty, and select Show character palette afterwards.
- Within the Character Palette pane choose View: Glyph.
- You will see now different options of the same Arabic character a character beginning, in the middle or ending a word.

This works out fine in TextEdit [as far as I could find, Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac does not support Arabic fonts/characters.
