*Ahmad Faris Al Omari
*Born 1985 in Baghdad, in Al Adhamia district.
In 1996, Ahmad started learning Arabic Calligraphy at the early age of 11 on the hands of
the late calligrapher Abd Alaziz Alsamarai in the city of Samara.
After moving to Baghdad, he continued studying Arabic Calligraphy under the instruction of
calligrapher Nabil Alsharifi and mastered the Naskhi script.
Later on, Ahmad Al Umari studied calligraphy under the instruction of the master calligrapher Abbas Al Baghdadi and acquired from him the Ijazah (the highest certificate) in Arabic Calligraphy.
He also benefited by closely studying old masters scripts and books in calligraphy, especially the works of the late Hashim Al Baghdadi in his manuals and masterpieces in mosques.

Ahmad moved to live in Aleppo in the Syrian Arab Republic in 2006. Education:
BSc in Computer Engineering.
Member of the Iraqi Calligraphers Association.
