Elamine is educated at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Strasbourg (national school of decorative arts) and at Schcool of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He was also a researcher at the Atelier National de Recherches Typographiques, the only national research center for typography in France.
