Maya was born in Beirut in 1980, she graduated with a BS in Graphic Design with Minor in Fine Arts from Lebanese American University. She pursued her studies to sharpen her knowledge by getting a teaching diploma in arts from her alma mater. She started her career as a freelancer and handled several projects such as Identity and packaging design for various clients. The project that propelled her forward is the Book design for LEBANON REBUILT 10 YEARS OF ACHIEVMENT that won the UN Award. While working as a designer, Maya balanced in an educational profession at C&E University. There she teaches both Graphic Design and Arts Education. Maya is currently working for brandcentral.
