Within the framework of Tricksters Tricked, the Van Abbe Museum has invited the Khatt Foundation.

Typographic Matchmaking investigates the translation of culturally relevant messages into design products, such as lettering systems and 3D prototypes, by facilitating cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaborations. The workshop will concentrate on the relationships between typography and the public sphere, focusing on the museum as a potential social hub. Offering hands on experience, the workshop invites participants to develop a new reading of the museum architecture and try out their ideas and designs on the spot.

Moderator: Huda Smitshuijzen AbiFares, founding director of the Khatt Foundation, graphic designer, researcher and writer.
